Believe it or not this is one of the scottish delicasies ;-) Along with deepfried pizza this is apparently one of those things one "has" to try before leaving ;-P Dunno...
I have however had the haggis, both blood pudding as well as the corny one with raisins ;-) not such a big hardship being an Icelander used to both from home ;-P

there is a place around here that does deep fried twinkies. do you have twinkies? mmmm. Anyway. Deep fried mars bars I would definitely try. Haggis not so much.
He he, It´s just been pointed out to me that at easter one can apparently also get cadbury's eggs ;-P And Deep fried twinkies??!!?? Ewww is about the most intellectual response I can come up to that :-D
I asked my friend from the states to bring me a twinkie bar because I´d seen it in all those comics for all those years and never actually tried them ;-) to summarise I found them dissappointingly inedible ;-D
