After 2 weeks of absolute spoilage were heading home. Of course after the kids eagerly awaiting snow it seems it will finally snow today(and for the next week), just as were leaving of course.
Squid cookies anyone? Probably would have gone down well with the jellyfish icecream i was offered later in the day
Went to see the Namahage, a local Akita monster visiting from the mountain of Oga, which incdentally bears a strikin character resemblance to the Icelandic Gryla only a tad more colorful. Will tell u more once i get to a computer (my thumb is giving up now)
